Learning Disabilities such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) and ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), and problems with school and social adaptation in general, can often be redressed with forms of Clinical Hypnosis.  Children today are bombarded with images and ideas that they may not be mature enough to accept.  We often blame ourselves for the difficulties that our children suffer at school and socially.  What we often do not consider is that they too may blame themselves for disruptions in the family.  A move to Spain is often heralded as a great progressive step forward in family life: but it can leave our children friendless and confused, especially when that child is enrolled in a Spanish school. Even in the international schools on the Costa del Sol, the number of different backgrounds children come from can result in a loss of identity. We can adapt - we have a choice - but can our children?

Another area which stays with us is that of bullying.  Children so often fit into the role of Victim when their own self-esteem is not strong enough to deal with the conflicts.  They may feelthreatened, or often guilty when their anger gets out of control.

How do we expect our kids to learn in an environment which is insecure?

Often, full hypnotherapy is only a last resort, but cognitive retraining and repatterning through personal exploration and self hypnosis techniques can help your child deal with imbedded stresses which you, as a parent, may not be aware of.
